Welcome PREPiFY '26 Team!

Letter from DC Prep Principals to New Team Members:

We are excited to welcome you to DC Prep and look forward to seeing you in person at New Teacher Orientation (NTO) on Tuesday August 3rd! Teachers new to DC Prep are called the PREPiFY Cohort: "PREP in First Year.” At NTO, you will learn the DC Prep Way alongside other new teachers and build relationships that will last throughout the year and beyond! Additionally, during NTO, you will have the opportunity to meet and work with our leadership team, members of our Home Office Teams (including the Schools and Program Teams), as well as colleagues from across our network. 

There is flexible time built into the New Teacher Orientation and August Orientation schedule to complete some of the onboarding tasks described on this site, yet we’ve heard from Campus Teams that they would prefer to spend their time in-person doing things you can only do in-person (building relationships with co-teachers, meetings with your coach, setting up your classroom, etc.). Therefore, you are welcome and encouraged to begin and complete these tasks prior to Day 1 of New Teacher Orientation. You will be able to submit your certification of completion (for tasks that require it) after you gain access your DC Prep email on first day of work.

Onboarding Task Instructions

Welcome to DC Prep! Below are the training modules you are required to complete. Please finish all of your required tasks by Friday, August 21, 2026.

How to confirm you're done: For most tasks, you'll log your completion on the Onboarding Module Tracking Form. Sign in to Google with your DC Prep credentials (the form records who you are automatically; no need to type your email), and complete the form once for each task that requires it. If you don't have your DC Prep login yet, your principal can help.
